Ozark Mountain Candles
Premium Scented Candles Since 1990
Contrary to what many believe, the aroma of a
scented candle is emitted by the liquefied wax,
NOT THE FLAME. To get the full benefit from the
fragrance oils blended into the wax, the melt
pool of a container candle should be deep and
wide. The wider and deeper the melt pool, the
more prominent the aroma.
The liquefied wax, or melt pool as it is called, is
also the fuel that feeds the flame of a wicked
candle, so as the flame develops the melt pool,
it is also burning away the wax and the
fragrance oil along with it.
Unlike a flame lit candle that uses the High Temperature of
a flame that burns away the wax and fragrance oil, our
candle warmers use Low Temperature, controlled by an
electrical source, not a flame. Liquefied wax does not
evaporate, thats why the wax level of a candle heated on
our candle warmers Remain At The Same Level from the
very first moment you detect the fragrance to the point
where all the scent has been used up and a fragrance can
no longer be detected.

The economics of owning one of our candle warmers goes
far beyond longer lasting fragrance.
Another money saving feature of our candle warmers is
that eventually, when the fragrance has been used up
completely, you have the option to simply and easily,
rejuvenate the candle and bring it back to life.
All you need do is simply add the appropriate amount of
our 100% concentrated Fragrance Oil to the wax while it is
liquefied, stir well, allow it to re-harden and your candle is
rejuvenated, and at a cost far less than the original cost of
the candle. It is honestly that simple!
For best results, allow the candle to harden for two or
three days before re-melting. We recommend using the
same scent to rejuvenate your candle.
Note of caution. Never add fragrance oil to a flame lit
candle.
Bring your candles back to life!

Most candle warmers melt from the bottom up. This
"Upside-Down" melting system takes longer to melt the
candle than that of a flame lit candle, but the extra time is
worth the wait.
Use the proper size container with your new candle
warmer to insure the wax will melt as quickly as possible.
Short and wide containers, such as our 10 ounce
apothecary jars, 4 ounce Travel Tins, Swirly's and other
"Short" containers are best suited for the standard 4 inch
heat plate warmers while the taller candles, such as our 16
and 26 ounce apothecary jars, are best suited for our
Candle Crocks which have the ability to radiate heat to the
sides of the taller containers. Our Candle Crocks also
make attractive "Candle Holders".
Perfect for places like
business offices, medical and
dental offices, dorm rooms,
government buildings or just
about anywhere an open flame
might be prohibited.
Keep in mind, shorter and wider candles will melt more
quickly than taller candles.
A tin container, like our seamless Travel Tins, will heat
quickly.
Tarts melt quicker than solid candles.
If you like to experience different scents on a fairly
frequent basis, then we recommend our COMBO
Warmer/Melter.
Our candle warmer/tart burner COMBO is a Smart Looking
two piece unit that has a removable tart bowl that can melt
a number of tarts at the same time when the bowl is
placed atop the 4" heating plate. The heating plate will
accommodate containers with a base of up to 4" in
diameter.
If you prefer, you can economise by substituting the
COMBO with the Lighted "Signature" candle warmer, and
using an ordinary custard bowl for tart melting. A mini
aluminum pie pan also makes an excellent tart bowl.
As a safety measure, some candles are made to
"self extinguish" with approximately 1/2 inch of
scented wax remaining in the container. Because of
this, the fragrance oils within the unused portion of
the wax, goes to waste.
With our candle warmers, the fragrance oil is used
up completely. There is never any waste.
